Thiago Motta's agent has denied suggestions that the Inter Milan midfielder turned down an offer from Arsenal.
Recent speculation has intimated that Arsenal are interested in Motta as they look to bolster their ranks ahead of the 2011-12 season.
But the 28-year-old's representative, Daniele Canovi, has stated that no proposal from the Gunners has been received.
Canovi told Gazzetta dello Sport: "The player has never turned down an offer from Arsenal.
"He wants to remain at Inter and if the coach (Gian Piero) Gasperini wants him, he will continue to wear the Nerazzurri colours."
Motta joined Inter in 2009 from Genoa and played a key role in the club winning a Serie A, Coppa Italia and Champions League treble in his first season.
