Inter Milan defender Maicon has hinted he could be set to move to Real Madrid, claiming that he will speak about a transfer after the Copa America tournament.
Maicon, 29, has been attracting the attention of the Spanish giants for some time and almost made a €35 million move to the Bernabeu last season only for negotiations to fall through.
However, with his contract up at the end of the coming season, the Brazilian has insisted he is happy in Italy for the time being, but that he has something to say about Madrid.
"I am happy at Inter, but we will speak about Real Madrid and Inter after the Copa," he is quoted as saying by Il Corriere dello Sport. "I want to win a trophy with Brazil and this is my only objective right now."
Maicon is viewed as one of the best right-backs in world football and is known to be keen on a reunion with his former boss (and now Real Madrid manager) Jose Mourinho.
