Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp insists his team next season will be stronger that last term's title winning side.
Dortmund have lost midfielder Nuri Sahin to Madrid without adding any big-name players to the squad.
Their biggest signing this summer has been Croatia midfielder Ivan Perisic from Club Brugge, with German youngsters Ilkay Gundogan, Moritz Leitner and Chris Lowe also coming in, but Klopp is optimistic for the coming campaign.
"I have the feeling that we are better personnel-wise than we were last season," he said in an interview with the Bild newspaper. "The competition in the squad is even stronger because of the new signings."
Dortmund won the Bundesliga title by seven points from Bayer Leverkusen last term.
