Milan rule out huge bid for Hamsik

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani insists there is "zero possibility" the club will make a massive offer for Napoli star Marek Hamsik.

Hamsik, 23, gave an interview in his native Slovakia this week revealing that he was keen to join Milan, and said Rossoneri coach Massimiliano Allegri wanted him to join the club.

However, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis then warned that Milan would have to make "an offer that you cannot turn down" if Hamsik is to move on, and Galliani has dismissed that possibility.

"There is zero possibility that Milan will make an irrefutable offer for Hamsik that will surprise De Laurentiis," Galliani told Gazzetta dello Sport.

Galliani also reiterated that Milan are not looking to sign Cesc Fabregas as he expects the Arsenal captain to seal a move to Barcelona.

"Fabregas will not join us because he will join a different club," he told the club's official website.
