Lille make double signing

French champions Lille have further strengthened their squad by signing Czech defender David Rozehnal and Nigerian goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama.

• Lille snare Payet

Rozehnal won the domestic double at the Stade Lille-Metropole last campaign after joining the club on loan from Hamburg. It was the first time since the 1950s that that club had lifted the respective cup and league trophies, and the 30-year-old said that last season's experience enticed him to extend his stay.

"I am very happy to be able to prolong my story at Lille," said Rozehnal. "It is great news for me and for my career but also for my private life because my family feels very much at home in Lille."

Enyeama, 28, a standout for Nigeria at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, was also pleased to put pun to paper on a three-year deal from Israeli club Hapoel Tel-Aviv.

"To come here to Lille, to the French champions, it is a bit like a dream coming true," he said. "My ambition is to continue to progress with this excellent squad and top coach."

The pair join another recent signing in Dimitri Payet from St Etienne as manager Rudi Garcia looks to guide his side to back-to-back titles.
