Conte key for Lichtsteiner
Stephan Lichtsteiner has revealed that working under manager Antonio Conte is key to his decision to move to Juventus.
Switzerland international Lichtsteiner has agreed to join Juventus from Lazio for a reported fee of €10 million. He passed a medical on Monday and is set to pen a four-year deal with the Bianconeri later this week.
"Conte has convinced me," Lichtsteiner told Gazzetta dello Sport. "I wanted to play for Juve but it was the telephone call from Conte that proved crucial for me to accept. We see football in the same way."
The 27-year-old full-back moved to Lazio from Lille in the summer of 2008 and had one year left on his contract.
He will become Juventus' fourth acquisition of the summer after Michele Pazienza, Andrea Pirlo and Reto Ziegler joined from Napoli, AC Milan and Sampdoria respectively.
