Henry sent-off in NY comeback

Thierry Henry scored his eighth goal of the season, but was later sent off as the New York Red Bulls came from two goals down to draw 3-3 at the Portland Timbers.

Henry scored in the 73rd minute to get the MLS Eastern Conference leaders back in the game at 3-2, but was dismissed in the 90th minute for an off the ball incident as Dwayne De Rosario converted a last-minute penalty to earn NY Red Bulls a point.

Austin Da Luz had put New York ahead in the fifth minute, but the game turned on its head early in the second half.

Jack Jewsbury levelled in the 48th minute and half-time substitute Kevin Goldthwaite scored a second for Portland two minutes later.

Stephen Keel's own goal in the 68th minute put the Timbers 3-1 up, but they were unable to resist the Red Bulls' fightback.
