Three set to leave Wolves
In an effort to clear space for new signings, Wolves are keen on selling three of last season's on loan players this summer.
Mick McCarthy's side are reportedly eager to find suitors for Austrian striker Stefan Maierhofer and English midfielder Greg Halford, both of whom will be back on the Molineux payroll next month with a year remaining on each of their contracts.
Young Welsh striker Sam Vokes, whose loan spell at Bristol City was ended by a torn hamstring before spending time at Norwich, also appears to be on his way out.
Possibly alluding to the out-of-favour trio, Wolves chief executive Jez Moxey said: "Players will have to be moved on in order for new signings to come in."
Maierhofer spent last season on loan at German second division club Duisberg, who have been unable to meet the £1.3 million asking price Wolves are seeking for the player they purchased for £1.8 million in August of 2009.
Halford appeared to be reviving his fortunes with the club during last summer's pre-season, but ended up spending the year on loan at Fratton Park with Portsmouth.
