AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has dismissed speculation that Palermo midfielder Javier Pastore and Napoli star Marek Hamsik will join the Italian champions this summer.
Pastore, a highly-rated 21-year-old, is being chased by Europe's biggest clubs with AC Milan, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea and Manchester City all understood to be keen on the Argentina star.
However, Galliani said to Gazzetta dello Sport: ''Pastore? We are not interested. He is a playmaker and we are looking for a left midfielder.''
Galliani also denied recent media reports that suggested the Italian side are in the hunt for Napoli midfielder Marek Hamsik.
''With regards to Hamsik, I can confirm that we are not in negotiations, nor will we enter negotiations, to sign him,'' he said.
