Veteran coach Delio Rossi has left Palermo for a second time this year.
Rossi has parted company with the club despite taking them to the final of the Coppa Italia, which they lost 3-1 to Inter Milan on Sunday.
Having joined the club in 2009, he lost his job in February following a 7-0 defeat to Udinese, only to return just four weeks later after replacement Serge Cosmi struggled as well.
But despite an eighth-placed finish and their Coppa Italia exploits, the club are looking for a new coach once again.
"President Maurizio Zamparini and coach Delio Rossi met today and considered their positions calmly," the club said in a statement.
"They emphasised mutual respect and both have decided by mutual consent not to continue their employment relationship."
