Benzema confident of Real stay

Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema does not think he will be sold this summer despite speculation linking him with an exit.

Benzema found some good form in the second half of the season for Los Blancos and his situation is reportedly being monitored by Premier League side Arsenal and Italians Juventus.

The 23-year-old will be hoping to feature more under manager Jose Mourinho next term and believes the Portuguese coach has faith in him to improve.

He told Marca: "I do not think that Real Madrid are thinking about selling me this summer. Mourinho has faith in me and wants to stick with me. You will see the real Benzema again next term."

France international Benzema has been strongly linked with a switch to the Gunners where he would join compatriot Arsene Wenger.

The former Lyon forward also hopes to see Sergio Aguero make a move between the Spanish capital clubs. He added: "Aguero definitely has the quality to play for Real Madrid."
