Guidolin hopes to keep squad together

Udinese coach Francesco Guidolin is confident his squad will remain largely intact for next season.

Reports in Italy have linked several first-team players with a move away from the Friuli outfit this summer. Chilean winger Alexis Sanchez is a reported target of several top European clubs, including Manchester City, while Udinese left-back Pablo Almero has been linked to Liverpool.

Guidolin told Corriere dello Sport: "(Udinese owner) Giampaolo Pozzo is an intelligent man and he will know what to do for the good of Udinese.

"I don't think the team will be dismantled even though there are many offers for our players and perhaps one of them might end up leaving for a great club.''

Udinese finished fourth in Serie A and will play in next season's Champions League, if they win their play-off fixture.
