Madrid swoop for Callejon
Jose Maria Callejon has become Real Madrid's third signing in the past few weeks, with the former Espanyol winger joining after the capture of Turkey internationals Nuri Sahin and Hamit Altintop.
Callejon, 24, has agreed a five-year contact with Madrid, where he came up through the youth ranks before moving to Espanyol in 2008 without making a first-team appearance for the Bernabeu outfit.
Borussia Dortmund playmaker Sahin, 22, agreed a six-year deal with the Spanish giants while the 28-year-old Altintop moves to Madrid on a four-year deal after leaving Bayern Munich.
In the recently-completed season - their first under Jose Mourinho - Madrid won the Copa del Rey, finished runners-up to Barcelona in La Liga, and were knocked out of the Champions League semi-finals by their Catalan rivals.
