Premier Showdown - May 14-17

So Tommy Smyth continues to wobble! Two rounds to go and Dale Johnson closes in yet again. Tommy how has a lead of 4.5 points with just six left up for grabs. Tommy has had weeks to secure our imaginary trophy, but he's still waiting. Surely he can't throw it away ... surely .... Looking to help out Tommy by stopping Dale from taking the three points is Andrew Lydiard who is from Reno in Nevada, United States. Andrew tells us: "I have been a football fan since I was child growing up in the great North West. I am a die-hard Liverpool fan and have been in trouble just a few times at work for showing my support! I also support my home team Seattle Sounders (but as they are only three seasons old, I can't claim to support them as much as Liverpool). I currently work as a consultant in Reno, NV. It's a good job, and nice to have right out of college. I am 24 years of age and probably won't ever stop playing football. Here's hoping I picked some winners."

Let's check out those predictions.

For each round of Premier League action we invite one reader to take on Press Pass pundit Tommy Smyth and ESPNsoccernet journalist Dale Johnson in our predictions game.

Points are then awarded as follows:
• Three points for a correct result and scoreline
• One point for a correct result

After the weekend's scores are in and the Showdown result has been worked out, the winning pundit receives three points for their season's total. Should the challenger win, the total is added to the Rest of the World tally. In the case of a draw, the points are shared.

Amazing scenes! Charles N'Zogbia's 94th minute goal proves to be vital as Dale picks up yet another victory to pull within 1.5 points of Tommy. It's going down to the last day of the season!

Table after Round 37
Tommy: 46.5
Dale: 45
Rest of the World: 19.5

Best week's total of season so far: 13, Tommy Smyth (from eight fixtures).

So do you think you can beat the best of the best? Now is your chance to find out!
