Berlusconi would welcome Kaka return

AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi has told Kaka he would be welcome to return to the club if he decides to leave Real Madrid.

Madrid swoop for Sahin

Kaka's future in Madrid is uncertain following an injury-hit campaign and the signing of Nuri Sahin from Borussia Dortmund, and his mother recently suggested the Brazil star had already agreed a move to the Premier League.

There had been widespread reports earlier in the season, though, that Kaka was likely to return to Milan and Berlusconi has now suggested a deal is possible.

"Kaka is an extraordinary man," he told Radio Kiss Kiss. "If he wants to come back to Milan we will welcome him with open arms."

Milan could be set to make some major changes to the squad this summer, with Clarence Seedorf, Andrea Pirlo, Alessandro Nesta and Massimo Ambrosini all out of contract at the end of the season.

Pirlo appears set to join Juventus, but 35-year-old Seedorf's future remains up in the air and he has now criticised the club for allowing the situation to drag on.

"The club asked us to wait until we had won the Scudetto and that's what we did," Seedorf told the Corriere dello Sport. "Now we want clarity and respect. You don't treat flag bearers of this club like this.

"I'm not feeling good, that is for certain. My relationship with Berlusconi is clear, but it's [vice-president Adriano] Galliani who looks after these things.

"I've spent half of my career here. My rapport with Milan has not changed - my love is as it was. Perhaps we need to understand whether the opposite is occurring."
