Premier Showdown - Apr 30 - May 1

Dale Johnson kept the competition alive last weekend with a crushing victory. Three correct scorelines saw him home by a huge margin and it means Tommy Smyth is waiting to pick up the Showdown trophy.

It will still take a Herculean effort for Dale to thwart Tommy and hold on to the crown - he has to win four of the next five rounds and hope Tommy does not win the other round.

Looking to get in on the act this weekend is Michael Quemp.

Michael tells us: "I'm 28 years old , born in Kano, Nigeria, and I currently live in Florida USA. I'm a subbrogation specialist by profession. My first love for the Premier League was in 1999 when Manchester United won the Treble. I didn't get to watch the finals because we didn't have cable TV at the time, but listened to commentary on the radio with my younger brother.

"After that season I listened to the entire Premier League season on the radio and sometimes even recorded the commentary to replay later.

"But I'm a bonafide Chelsea fan and the Premier League is pretty much my life at this point. I enjoy the outdoors and especially playing soccer with my buddies."

Let's check out those predictions.

For each round of Premier League action we invite one reader to take on Press Pass pundit Tommy Smyth and ESPNsoccernet journalist Dale Johnson in our predictions game.

Points are then awarded as follows:
• Three points for a correct result and scoreline
• One point for a correct result

After the weekend's scores are in and the Showdown result has been worked out, the winning pundit receives three points for their season's total. Should the challenger win, the total is added to the Rest of the World tally. In the case of a draw, the points are shared.

A superb Sunday performance from Michael gives the Rest of the World the points. And Tommy is still waiting for the title!

Table after Round 35
Tommy: 46.5
Dale: 39
Rest of the World: 19.5

Best week's total of season so far: 13, Tommy Smyth (from eight fixtures).

So do you think you can beat the best of the best? Now is your chance to find out!
