A late goal from Scott Palguta snatched a 2-1 win for Colorado Rapids over Houston Dynamo in Wednesday's MLS action.
Colin Clark fired the hosts in front after 71 minutes, but Colorado equalised four minutes later through Jamie Smith before Palguta struck five minutes from time to steal the points.
The win takes the Rapids within two points of Western Conference leaders the Los Angeles Galaxy and above Seattle Sounders, who lost 2-1 at DC United.
A Josh Wolff goal gave the home side a 32nd-minute lead with Charlie Davies then doubling that seven minutes after the interval.
Brad Evans reduced the deficit with from the penalty spot after 70 minutes, but Seattle were unable to add to their tally.
