Heinze keen on Juve switch

Gabriel Heinze has revealed he is unlikely to stay at Marseille beyond the end of the season and is keen on a move to Juventus this summer.

Pirlo linked with Juve

Heinze, 33, joined Marseille in 2009 after spells with Real Valladolid, Paris St Germain, Manchester United and Real Madrid, but it appears he has no intention of prolonging his stay at the Stade Velodrome.

"There is little chance of me staying, but that is no problem for me and it is no problem for Marseille," he told L'Equipe Magazine. "I have other projects in mind."

Juventus - linked with Heinze in 2007 when he left Old Trafford for Madrid - are rumoured to have shown interest in the left-back, whose current deal expires in 2012.

"Juve are a very big club and it would be perfect for my career if I could sample Italian football," Heinze added. "I've been close to playing in Italy twice before - we'll have to see whether I'm fortunate enough to get a third offer this year."
