Ajax take title challenge to final fixture
Ajax ensured the Eredivisie title race will go down to the wire by coming from behind to win 2-1 at Heerenveen on Sunday.
Heading into the penultimate game of the regular season a point behind defending champions FC Twente, the visitors found themselves a goal down in the 18th minute to Mika Vayrynen's strike.
However, Miralem Sulejmani got the Amsterdammers back on level terms within 60 seconds and Christian Eriksen completed the turnaround in the first minute of the second half.
Twente maintained their advantage at the summit with a 4-0 home win over Willem II, meaning the destiny of the league title will be decided on May 15 when the top two go head to head at the Amsterdam ArenA.
