Celtic have confirmed that Joe Ledley will miss the Clydesdale Bank Premier League title run-in with a hamstring injury.
The Wales midfielder admitted he feared his campaign was over after limping off during Sunday's Old Firm derby at Ibrox.
Celtic confirmed on their official website that Ledley will miss the last six games of the season, which include the Scottish Cup final against Motherwell.
A statement read: "He returned from a different hamstring injury for Sunday's goalless draw with Rangers but was unlucky to pick up another knock to the same leg 54 minutes into the match.
"Scans have revealed a different injury has occurred, this time to his upper hamstring, which has subsequently ruled the Welshman out for the remaining six matches of the campaign."
Ledley has played 29 SPL games for Celtic this season, scoring two goals and providing three assists.
