Szczesny: 'It's not finished yet'

Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny believes that his team-mates must continue to fight for the Premier League title in order to take advantage of an "out-of-form" Manchester United side.

Wenger vows to fight on

The Gunners are now six points behind United - in third position in the table - after drawing 3-3 against Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night, having thrown away a two-goal advantage.

With only five games of the season remaining, Arsenal's hopes of clinching the title are hanging by a thread, but Szczesny is refusing to abandon hope, especially as United still have to come to Emirates Stadium before the end of the season.

United also face a clash against second-place Chelsea, leaving the door slightly ajar for Arsenal, but is hard to see Arsene Wenger's men seizing their chance, particularly as they have won just one of their last six Premier League matches.

"We know that every time we draw, we drop two points, especially now when we have to catch up Manchester United," Szczesny said. "Thankfully they are dropping points as well, so it is not finished yet.

"It is going to be very difficult, but we are going to fight until the end. It is not in our hands any more and has not been for some time, we now have to rely on other teams to take some points off Manchester United.

"But they are not on form and we have to hope they will drop points and focus now on getting the result on Sunday."

Szczesny, who conceded the penalty from which Spurs scored their equaliser, has admitted that Spurs were good value for the draw they earned at White Hart Lane. "You are never really in control when you play against Tottenham because it is a war, not just a football game. It is never won until it is won," Szczesny said.

"In the second half, they put us under a lot of pressure and deserved a draw. We are disappointed because we needed to win the game, but we have to admit it was a fair result."
