Adriano could miss run-in

Barcelona defender Adriano could miss the rest of the season after suffering a leg injury during the Copa del Rey final defeat to Real Madrid.

Copa del Rey unharmed after fall

Adriano was replaced just before the end of the match, which Madrid won 1-0 after extra-time, and after undergoing tests on Thursday it was revealed he has a damaged right hamstring that is set to keep him out of action for four weeks.

That means Adriano is set to be sidelined for Barca's final six league matches, with the season finishing on the weekend of May 21/22, although he could potentially be available to coach Pep Guardiola if the club reach the Champions League final on May 28.

Barca are eight points clear at the top of the Primera Division table and face Madrid in the semi-finals of the Champions League.
