Ledley sweating over fitness

Joe Ledley looks set to miss Celtic's league game at Kilmarnock on Wednesday and possibly the Old Firm derby.

Ledley limped off with a hamstring injury in the 69th minute of Celtic's 4-0 Scottish Cup semi-final win over Aberdeen on Sunday.

He has all but ruled himself out of the Rugby Park contest and fears he may miss the trip to Ibrox on Sunday.

Ledley said: "I will have a scan and see what that says, but I don't think I will be involved at Kilmarnock on Wednesday. I played a pass and it sort of tightened up a bit."

He added in the Daily Record: "I can only hope the scan reveals nothing too serious and I can play against Rangers. I'm not sure I will be able to make it for Ibrox.

"We're at the biggest stage of the season and every player at the club wants to be part of that match. I'm enjoying the pressure of going for the league and cup double.

"I haven't won anything in my career and I want a few medals this season but I'll have to sweat over this scan first."
