Arsenal have questions to address

Fellaini wants new Everton deal

Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini has said he is "ready and waiting" to sign a new contract at Goodison Park.

• Moyes wants Fellaini deal

The Belgium international, who joined Everton for a club record fee of £15 million in 2008, is being closely monitored by Chelsea, according to his father.

However, David Moyes has already said he is intent on keeping Fellaini at Goodison Park and now the 23-year-old has reciprocated by insisting he has no plans to leave.

"Everton are a club that really care about me," Fellaini told the Daily Star. "My relationship with the manager is excellent and I'm delighted that he considers me a key player and wants to extend my contract.

"The discussions have not yet begun, but I don't suppose they are far off. For my part, I'm ready and waiting.

"I've not been in contact with any other club about leaving Everton. Besides, they will have their say if a club show formal interest in me.

"I'm still under contract with them and I'm counting on returning to training as soon as possible and being available for the end of the season."
