Blackburn Rovers co-owner Venkatesh Rao insists Venky's will not abandon the club if they are relegated.
Venky's have faced criticism following the takeover in November, with Sam Allardyce having been replaced by rookie boss Steve Kean and the club now sitting just one point above the relegation zone.
Rao has acknowledged that he is "worried" about the state of the club, with the high wages-to-turnover ratio suggesting they will require significant investment should they fail to retain their Premier League status.
However, asked about the prospect of relegation, Rao told the Lanacashire Telegraph: "We are absolutely committed to the club and that won't be changing any day.
"Of course we are worried but we have to play well and get together as a team, and we have to get out of the situation.
"You have to win sometimes and you have to lose sometimes, but we have to come out of this situation, that's very sure. But we are always positive and we will be positive."
