Wales striker Robert Earnshaw has been ruled out of Saturday's highly-anticipated Euro 2012 qualifier against neighbouring England with a hamstring strain.
Earnshaw, 29, suffered the injury during Nottingham Forest's goalless Championship draw against Doncaster last weekend.
Although the problem is not as bad as initially feared, scans have revealed the damage will sideline Earnshaw for around a month, ruling him out of the clash at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium on March 26.
"Robert has a grade one hamstring injury, which is good news for us,'' said Forest boss Billy Davies. "We are probably looking at him being out for three or four weeks. Anything above that would have been a disaster for us.''
Manchester City striker Craig Bellamy, who is currently on loan at Cardiff City, is expected to lead the line alongside either MK Dons striker Jermaine Easter or Reading forward Simon Church.
