Guidolin dismisses Juve talk

Francesco Guidolin insists his future is at Udinese despite media speculation linking him with a move to Juventus this summer.

Juve are reportedly set to part company with coach Luigi Del Neri at the end of the season and the Udinese boss is considered one of the main candidates for the Bianconeri hotseat.

However, Guidolin has reiterated that his wish is to remain at the Friuli club for many years to come.

He said: ''I hope I can remain here and plan the future. At my age, I am no longer interested if my name is linked to a big club or not. Perhaps when I was 40 it bothered me but it doesn't now.''

The 55-year-old is performing impressively at Udinese after joining the club last summer from Parma and his side are currently enjoying a 12-match unbeaten run and last weekend's 4-0 triumph at Cagliari lifted the Bianconeri to fourth place in the standings.

Guidolin's side holds the last Champions League qualifying spot with nine games left to play in Serie A.

Meanwhile, Napoli coach Walter Mazzarri has moved to distance himself from reports linking him with a summer switch to Juventus by insisting he is ''very happy'' at the San Paolo.

He told Radio Marte: ''I have already stated that I'm not listening to any transfer market reports. My players and I must isolate ourselves from all of that and focus just on our games.

''My only thought is to obtain the maximum with Napoli and I don't want any distractions. It's absolutely useless to talk about certain things with nine games to go until the end of the season.

''I have no problem with the city of Naples, with the fans and with the club. I am very happy at Napoli.''

Mazzarri is under contract until June 2014 and club president Aurelio De Laurentiis is optimistic he will see out his current deal and rebuff any advances which may come his way this summer.

''I'm sure our coach will not leave because if he did, it would be an act of treason towards me and towards the team,'' he said.
