Lille seal late win, Monaco shock

Eden Hazard scored a vital last-minute winner for Ligue 1 leaders Lille to seal a dramatic 2-1 victory over visiting Valenciennes.

•  Saturday's round up

Goals from Moussa Sow and Gregory Pujol had cancelled each other out until Hazard popped up in the dying seconds to take the points.

The result leaves Lille three points ahead of rivals Rennes at the summit.

Paris St Germain's title challenge stumbled after they threw away a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 against Montpellier.

Guillaume Hoarau and an own goal from Mapou Yanga M'Biwa put PSG in command after 13 minutes but Olivier Giroud pulled one back at the start of the second half.

Not even the dismissal of Cyril Jeunechamp after 48 minutes could halt Montpellier's progress and Giroud scored again approaching the hour mark.

The 10 men continued to boss proceedings over the final 30 minutes but could not find a winner as PSG slipped seven points behind Lille with 11 games to go.

Monaco hauled themselves out of the relegation zone with a surprise 1-0 win at resurgent Bordeaux.

Adriano scored the only goal of the game in the first half as the hosts came up short in their hunt for a third straight victory.

It was a real smash-and-grab effort from Monaco who barely threatened before or after taking the lead.

The goal came in the 21st minute as an unmarked Adriano got on the end of Gregory Lacombe's corner and gave Cedric Carrasso no chance with his close-range header.
