Klopp not leaving Dortmund for Bayern

Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp has insisted he is not interested in replacing Louis van Gaal at Bayern Munich amid reported interest from the Bavarians.

Bayern revealed this week that they will be parting company with Van Gaal at the end of the season and attention has quickly turned to to who the Dutchman's successor will be.

Klopp understandably emerged as an early favourite, as it is his Dortmund side that are set to usurp Bayern as Bundesliga champions; the Westphalians are currently 12 points ahead of second-placed Bayer Leverkusen.

But the former Mainz boss says he would have no hesitation in rejecting German giants Bayern should they ever come knocking.

"If Bayern ring me, then I will tell them that I have a contract at Dortmund until 2014," Klopp told Bild.

Klopp was also believed to be in contention for the Bayern job in 2008, before the reins were handed to Jurgen Klinsmann.

With Klopp out the running, Leverkusen coach Jupp Heynckes is the new favourite for the post, though the likes of Guus Hiddink, Martin Jol and Joachim Low are also reported to be in the frame.
