Ramsey to ride to Arsenal's rescue

With Theo Walcott facing a spell on the sidelines and doubts also surrounding the fitness of Cesc Fabregas, Arsenal are likely to thrust Aaron Ramsey back into action and the midfielder is vowing to stand up and be counted.

• Fabregas determined to make final
• Adams: Gunners count cost of win
• Walcott to miss cup final

Ramsey suffered a sickening broken leg last season and has understandably taken some time to return to form. He has spent time on loan at Cardiff, scoring at the weekend, but is set to be thrust back into Arsenal action by Arsene Wenger.

The Gunners have a busy spell coming up, but they saw Walcott and Fabregas pick up injuries in the win over Stoke on Wednesday. Ramsey will play his final game for Cardiff at the weekend before returning to the Emirates and he is ready to aid their bid for silverware.

"I'm getting back to my best form," Ramsey told the Daily Express. "This is what these games have been for. I'm back in the swing of things now and I have got better and stronger with every game.

"Hopefully that can continue now and I can get back to where I was and be even better as quickly as I possibly can."
