Leverkusen late show

Two goals in the last 10 minutes settled an entertaining Bundesliga encounter in second-placed Bayer Leverkusen's favour against Stuttgart at the BayArena on Sunday.

The struggling visitors had looked on course for a point when first Martin Harnik and then Zdravko Kuzmanovic cancelled out strikes from Stefan Kiessling and Gonzalo Castro.

But Stefan Reinartz put Bayer ahead for a third time with nine minutes remaining and then Kiessling's second in stoppage time made sure of the points.

Bayer move back to within 10 points of leaders Borussia Dortmund while Stuttgart remain second bottom, four points from safety.

Borussia Monchengladbach joined Stuttgart on 19 points after coming from behind to beat Schalke 2-1.

Peer Kluge put the Royal Blues ahead after two minutes but Marco Reus equalised 10 minutes later and Mohammadou Idrissou grabbed the winner midway through the first half.
