Osasuna have fired coach Jose Antonio Camacho after falling into the relegation zone this weekend.
Camacho's final match in charge was Sunday night's 1-0 defeat at Real Sociedad, a result that saw Osasuna slip to 18th place in the Primera Division standings.
Osasuna have now lost six of their last 11 matches, with their only win in that time being their shock 1-0 home victory over Real Madrid.
The Sociedad defeat also left the Pamplona outfit without an away win in 21 league and cup matches stretching back over a year.
Camacho, the former Spain and Real Madrid coach, took over at Osasuna in October 2008 following the sacking of Jose Angel Ziganda and led the club to a 15th-placed finish in his first season before guiding them to 12th spot last term.
Osasuna, whose next game is at home to Espanyol on Sunday, announced on their website that they will name Camacho's successor in the coming hours.
