Kaiserslautern hold leaders Dortmund

A last-gasp goal from Jan Moravek gave both Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich hope in the title race as Kaiserslautern held Bundesliga leaders Borussia Dortmund to a 1-1 draw.

A goal from Sven Bender less than 10 minutes from the end had put Jurgen Klopp's side on course for all three points at the Betzenberg in response to wins from Leverkusen and Bayern earlier on Saturday.

However, they lost Neven Subotic to a red card five minutes from time and Moravek's strike in the 90th minute denied them all three points and reduced their lead at the top of the table to 10 points over Leverkusen and 13 over Bayern.

Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery inspired Bayern Munich to an emphatic 4-0 win over Hoffenheim which moves them back up to third in the Bundesliga table.

Mario Gomez opened the scoring after two minutes and Thomas Muller added the second after just a quarter of an hour.

Two wonder goals from Robben in the second half completed the rout which shows Bayern have not yet given up on defending their title, despite being 12 points behind league leaders Borussia Dortmund with as many games left to play.

Bayer Leverkusen also put the pressure on the leaders by winning 3-0 at Eintracht Frankfurt.

Simon Rolfes put Leverkusen on the scoresheet in the ninth minute and Renato Augusto made it 2-0 in the 32nd minute before Hanno Balitsch finished off Frankfurt with his goal in the 84th minute.

Wolfsburg were unable to win their first game under new coach Pierre Littbarski as they lost 1-0 at home against Hamburg. Mladen Petric's penalty in the 32nd minute was enough to decide the game in favour of the visiting side.

Jefferson Farfan's early second-half strike secured a useful three points for Schalke as they beat Freiburg 1-0 to remain in contention for a top-six finish in the Bundesliga.

Nurnberg eased past Stuttgart 4-1 to leave them dreaming of Europe rather than fearing the drop, but their hosts remain in deep trouble in the Bundesliga bottom three.

Timmy Simons gave Nurnberg the lead in the 11th minute and Julian Schieber made it 2-0 after 28 minutes. Stuttgart pulled a goal back two minutes into first-half stoppage time through Patrick Funk but Timothy Chandler struck in the 51st minute and Mehmet Ekici made it 4-1 after 62 minutes for Nurnberg.

Igor de Camargo's moment of madness cost Borussia Monchengladbach dear as the basement boys surrendered an early lead to crash to a 3-1 defeat at St Pauli.

De Camargo opened the scoring for the visitors in the ninth minute but was sent off 12 minutes later for a headbutt on Matthias Lehmann, and St Pauli took full advantage of their extra man, Max Kruse levelling before the break and Gerald Asamoah and Lehmann sealing the win in the second half.
