Spurs Ilicic interest 'indisputable' - agent

The agent of Palermo midfielder Josip Ilicic has claimed that Tottenham are among a number of English clubs monitoring his client.

• Beckham to extend Spurs stay
• Kranjcar could still move on
• Pavlyuchenko: I want to leave
• Crouch: Transfer rumours hold no fear

Ilicic, 22, has been lighting up Serie A this season alongside fellow Rosanero starlet Javier Pastore, and Spurs have sat up and taken notice according to the Slovenian's representative Armir Ruznic.

"I have not had contact with Tottenham executives but it is indisputable that the player is liked by the English club," Ruznic to reterete24.it.

"For Ilicic, there are several teams in the English and Spanish league, as well as the Italian one, interested, but at present there is nothing concrete that would suggest a departure from Palermo at the end of the season.''

Ilicic joined Palermo last summer from NK Maribor and has scored eight league goals in 23 appearances this season. He is under contract with the Sicilian outfit until June 2015.
