Cassano: Milan can win everything

AC Milan new-boy Antonio Cassano has targeted the Treble for the Serie A leaders this season, claiming they can match rivals Inter's haul from last season.

Cassano joined the Rossoneri in January after falling out with Sampdoria but has yet to score for his new club. However, he is confident that he can help them on the road to success.

"Milan can win everything. The Scudetto and Coppa Italia, and even in the Champions League we have our chances even though it's a shame I cannot play in it," Cassano told La Gazzetta dello Sport. "Plus we have Zlatan Ibrahimovic who is like an extra terrestrial."

Cassano also made it clear that the club do not need Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli, who has long been linked with a move to Milan.

"Will Balotelli comes in July? No,'' he said. ''Between two or three years. Mario is a good player, but he must not make the same mistakes.''

Cesare Prandelli could call up Cassano when he announces his squad for the Germany friendly on Sunday, and the controversial striker is keen to take his chance.

"It will not be easy to compete with teams like Spain and Germany as they have quality whereas we have to use all the usual weapons of Italian football," he added. "Now we have the right group to succeed. We hope to entertain, but I also want to win something with Italy."
