Rangers confirmed on Sunday they have signed Sunderland and Northern Ireland striker David Healy until the end of the season.
Healy, 31, is a boyhood fan of Rangers and arrives at Ibrox to replace top scorer Kenny Miller, who has joined Turkish club Bursaspor.
The striker joined Sunderland in the summer of 2008 but has scored only one league goal for the Black Cats. Rangers have now taken over his contract for what remains of the season.
He recently spent a loan spell with Doncaster Rovers, scoring twice in eight games in the Championship.
Healy told the BBC in June : "If Rangers came knocking I would certainly not be saying no. I have been linked with going to Rangers for four or five years now. It has been well documented that I grew up supporting Rangers and my dad is a big Rangers fan."
