The agent of Barcelona full-back Dani Alves has rejected reports that Premier League sides have made an approach for the Brazilian.
Alves, 27, is out of contract at Barca in 2012, and it appears little progress has been made during negotiations over an extension.
Johan Cruyff, the club's honorary president, recently said the persistent rumours of interest from Manchester City were true and added: "It may be better to sell him than wait for his contract to end next year."
However, agent Joaquin Macanas has now told Sport: "No English clubs have contacted me to present an offer. Reports of interest from Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City are not true."
