Arsenal ponder Ramsey and Vela loans

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that he is considering sending Aaron Ramsey out on loan to former club Cardiff, while Carlos Vela also in line for a short-term spell away from Emirates Stadium.

Wenger: Arshavin is happy

Ramsey 20, has just returned to fitness following a broken leg suffered at Stoke in February, and had a spell at Nottingham Forest to get some much-needed match practice.

The Welshman joined the Gunners from Cardiff in a £5 million deal in June 2008 and Wenger said the midfielder was likely to head back to Wales before the end of the transfer window.

"I am considering as well to give Ramsey one month out on loan, with a possibility of him to go to Cardiff,'' he said. "I don't want him to go to a Premier League club because I want him to finish the season with us. I just look for competition for him.''

Earlier this week, Arsenal youngster Jay Emmanuel-Thomas headed to Cardiff City Stadium until the end of the season and Wenger also confirmed midfielder Henri Lansbury was set to rejoin fellow Championship promotion hopefuls Norwich.

Mexico striker Vela is another of Wenger's young Gunners whom he wants to get some first-team experience elsewhere, with Bolton one possible destination for the 21-year-old.

"We have plenty of clubs who are interested in him,'' Wenger said. "At the end of the day I look for a guarantee for him to play. For him he has as well to agree to join the club who wants him.''

Wenger, however, rejected suggestions there would be any permanent moves away from Emirates Stadium, with goalkeeper Manuel Almunia and striker Nicklas Bendtner both reported to have been interesting other clubs.

The Arsenal manager said: "We want everybody to be together and be focused on our targets. We can only achieve that if everybody is in.

"This is where I question a bit the transfer window, because this is the period where you want everybody to be connected - you cannot be half in or out. You have to be completely in.

"That is why I am not prepared to talk about anybody leaving. I just want everybody to be focused on what we can achieve together, which can be exceptional, but we need everybody to be focused on our targets.''
