Miller agrees Bursaspor deal

Rangers have revealed they have agreed a fee with Bursaspor for striker Kenny Miller, while the Turkish club announced that he has agreed personal terms for his move.

• Live Transfer blog

Miller is out of contract at Rangers at the end of the season and has been linked with Birmingham and Fiorentina, among others, after failing to agree a new deal at Ibrox.

He has scored 56 goals in 108 Rangers appearances and was undoubtedly a key player in the last two successful SPL campaigns, but is now awaiting the final paperwork before his transfer to Turkey will be completed.

Rangers revealed that they have now ''completed an agreement in principle with Bursaspor'' and Miller was pictured on the club's official website alongside the Turkish club's technical director Ozluce Tesisleri.

A statement on Bursaspor's official website read: "Kenny Miller today reached an agreement with Ozluce Tesisleri. The Rangers striker arrived by helicopter and met with Ozluce Tesisleri. The player will sign the official contract and you will be informed about the details later.''

The move, which will reportedly see the player earn £50,000-a-week, brings an end to the speculation shrouding Miller's future destination.

Rangers' assistant Ally McCoist told Blues News: "He made a wonderful contribution for the period that he was here. Kenny has been great for the club and equally the club has been great for Kenny. It's been a good partnership.

"If the deal does go through then he will go with our blessing and our thanks. Having said, that we are disappointed to see him go because he has been an integral part of the team over the past two and a half seasons.

"You can understand why he has made the decision has. All he was doing was exercising his right to look around, like any other player who is coming to the end of his contract."
