Goran Stevanovic has succeeded fellow Serb Milovan Rajevac as Ghana coach, six months after the country reached the quarter-finals of the World Cup.
Rajevac completed his two-year contract last year and former Partizan coach Stevanovic finalised the details of his contract with the Ghana Football Association on Tuesday and will be unveiled at a press conference on Wednesday
A Ghana FA statement read: "The Ghana Football Association has appointed a new coach for the Black Stars, Goran Stevanovic. We have successfully negotiated with the coach and he will replace his compatriot, Milovan Rajevac.
"The coach will be presented to the public at a press conference at the GFA on Wednesday, 12 January 2011 at 10am.''
Ghana will meet England in a senior international for the first time in a friendly clash at Wembley on March 29.
The match will take place three days after Fabio Capello's side play their first Euro 2012 qualifier of the year in Wales.
