Paris St Germain missed the chance to go top of Ligue 1 after being held to a 2-2 draw at Lyon.

Aly Cissokho put the home side in front after 54 minutes, but Nene equalised less than 10 minutes later for PSG.

Cissokho then went from hero to villain as he was sent off on 81 minutes, and PSG looked to have capitalised through Guillaume Hoarau's penalty, but Bafetimbi Gomis snatched an equaliser two minutes from time to give Lyon a share of the spoils.

Toulouse moved ahead of Auxerre in the middle of the Ligue 1 table after winning 2-1 at the Stade Abbe-Deschamps.

Daniel Braaten and Federico Santander put the visitors 2-0 up by the interval, although Auxerre hit the post through Julien Quercia. Alain Traore then halved the deficit ten minutes after the restart, but Auxerre looked the more likely to score a further goal and Braaten was also denied by the woodwork.

Sochaux moved into ninth in the Ligue 1 table with a comfortable 3-0 win at struggling Caen.

Damien Perquis put them ahead just before the break and they did not look back, with Brown Ideye and Nicolas Maurice-Belay adding further goals in the second-half. The result leaves Caen languishing in 19th place, with just one home win to their name all season.
