Palermo director Walter Sabatini says the club have no intention of parting with Javier Pastore.
Pastore, labelled the "new Zidane" by Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini last month, is said to be attracting interest from clubs including Real Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea and Manchester City.
However, Sabatini has warned that even €60 million would not tempt them to sell.
"His valuation is based on the market," Sabatini said. "Maurizio Zamparini speaks about important figures, but we have no intention to sell.
"Today, the president wouldn't even sell him for €60 million. Our desire is for Pastore to stay even if we receive important offers. He is showing an incredible rate of progress game after game too. He is world-class both on and off the pitch."
Palermo boss Delio Rossi said after the 4-1 victory over Bologna this weekend that Pastore still has to develop before he can be considered alongside the true greats.
"He has innate talent and is becoming the key man in the team, but certain comparisons are blasphemous," he said. "He still has to grow."
