Schalke striker Raul is confident that his first goal for the club - against Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday - will help kick-start his season, as Felix Magath's side prepare to take on Benfica in the Champions League.
After 599 goalless minutes, Raul finally scored for Schalke on Sunday, snatching a late equaliser for Die Konigsblauen to seal a 2-2 draw - a result that saw them earn their first point of the season.
Schalke had previously lost their first four Bundesliga games, and their Champions League opener in Lyon, but Raul believes that breaking his duck has relieved the pressure on him and more goals should come as a result.
"I really wanted that first goal and I am relieved that I got it," Raul said. "Now it's easier for me."
Benfica visit Schalke having not won on German soil in their previous 17 attempts, though they will enter the game in confident mood having beaten Hapoel Tel-Aviv in their Group B opener, as well as emerging victorious against Maritimo on Saturday.
