Laurent Koscielny feels he is adapting well to life at Arsenal as he looks to improve both mentally and physically to cope with the demands of the Premier League.
Koscielny, 25, is playing outside France for the first time in his career after leaving Lorient this summer, and he is having to adjust to a more intense style of play in England.
"My career has changed completely over the course of three months," he told L'Equipe. "It is going quite well, even if I'm not playing at 100% of my ability yet.
"It's a big challenge for me, but I'm getting better physically. I'm doing a lot of weight training to build myself up. The battles are much more physical, the attackers are rougher and the matches are more intense.
"[I want to improve] my positioning and my ability to anticipate the play. There's the mental side as well."
Koscielny is also hoping that his appearances for Arsenal will lead Laurent Blanc to call him into the France team. "I think I can break into the squad," he said. "Euro 2012 is a target for me."
