Mainz midfielder Lewis Holtby says he has decided to represent Germany at international level and not England.
Holtby, 20, currently captain's Germany's Under-21 team but qualifies for Fabio Capello's side as his father is English.
However, the midfielder is determined to make the breakthrough for Germany and represent Joachim Low's side in the future.
"I have made up my mind and I would like to play for Germany," Holtby told ZDF. "My father accepts that."
