Sampdoria forward Antonio Cassano believes Juventus should be considered favourites for the Serie A title this season, after being impressed with what he saw in his side's thrilling 3-3 draw with the Bianconeri in Turin on Sunday.
Juve struggled badly last season, first under inexperienced coach Ciro Ferrara - who was sacked in January - and then with Alberto Zaccheroni in caretaker charge, with the former Milan and Inter boss guiding the club to a seventh place finish.
But with Cassano's former boss Luigi Delneri now at the helm and a number of new faces arriving in Turin, including Fabio Quagliarella, Alberto Aquilani, Milos Krasic and Simone Pepe, the Sampdoria star believes Juventus will be a force to be reckoned with.
"I have said that Juve could be favourites in the fight for the Scudetto because they have a great coach like Del Neri," Cassano told Mediaset.
"They must only play how he wants. At Sampdoria we also need a little bit of time. Del Neri can do a good job because he is an extraordinary coach. You'll see another Juve."
