Ronaldo back in Real Madrid squad
Cristiano Ronaldo has been included in Real Madrid's squad for Saturday's Primera Division match with Osasuna after making a speedy recovery from injury.
It had been anticipated that Ronaldo would be sidelined for around three weeks after suffering an ankle injury during Madrid's season-opener against Real Mallorca a fortnight ago.
That would have meant he would have missed not only both of Portugal's first two Euro 2012 qualifiers, which were played over the last week, but also Madrid's league game with Osasuna and their first Champions League outing against Ajax next Wednesday.
However, he could feature in Saturday's encounter at the Bernabeu after Jose Mourinho included the player in his 20-man party on Friday.
Ronaldo's compatriot Pepe, who has not played competitively for Madrid since last December due to fitness problems, has also been named after recovering from injury.
Madrid drew their opening fixture 0-0 against Mallorca.
