Alves not worried about future

Dani Alves insists he is not worried about his future at Barcelona despite ongoing speculation over his new deal.

Alves has less than two years remaining on his contract but has yet to be offered an extension. Reports in Spain have claimed Manchester City are ready to take advantage of the uncertainty, but the 27-year-old says he is happy with the current situation.

"I am not worried about it at all," he said. "I have a contract and am settled so if they (Barca) propose something then fantastic, but if not then that is fine."

Alves also criticised Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who left Barca for AC Milan after just one season at Camp Nou.

"Perhaps Ibra lacked patience," he said. "Maybe he didn't fit in our team and the way we play and didn't wait long enough to adapt."
