Arsenal defender Traore completes Juventus move

Arsenal full-back Armand Traore has joined Serie A giants Juventus on loan until the end of the season.

• Schwarzer to stay at Fulham

Juventus confirmed on their official website that they have paid €500,000 to loan the player from Arsenal for the duration of the 2010-11 season.

The Old Lady are believed to be offering Traore a chance to join permanently if his loan spell is successful and the third-choice left-back at Emirates Stadium has jumped at the chance to play regular football.

The 20-year-old defender, who previously enjoyed a loan spell at Portsmouth, turned down interest from Birmingham and joins Leandro Rinaudo at Juve after his loan move from Napoli was confirmed on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Arsenal midfielder Nacer Barazite has joined Vitesse Arnhem on a season-long loan deal.
