Camoranesi leaves Juve to join Stuttgart

Italy international Mauro Camoranesi has joined Stuttgart from Juventus. Camoranesi has signed a one-year contract with the Bundesliga side on the final day of the transfer window having parted company with the Turin giants.

A World Cup winner with Italy in 2006, the 33-year-old Camoranesi scored 32 goals in 288 appearances for the Juve after joining the club in 2002 from Verona.

''Those who love Juventus will always remember Mauro Camoranesi with affection and gratitude,'' read a statement from the club.

Juve also confirmed they had parted company with veteran defender Jonathan Zebina. The French right-back has joined promoted side Brescia.
